Detective Dan for City Homicide?

Daniel McPherson is said to be moving from Sydney to Melbourne and a likely cast member for Seven’s drama in development, City Homicide.

As yet Seven has not officially announced this new drama series following a pilot late last year.

Other cast members in the pilot included Shane Bourne and Nadine Garner.

But his name has also been associated as a new host for It Takes Two after it was decided Grant Denyer shouldn’t be hosting two talent shows on the one network. Now there’s some common sense prevailing.

McPherson last appeared in TEN’s Tripping Over and hosted The X Factor. At the time of signing his deal with TEN, it was to include developing his own projects. But last time I asked him about movement on these he didn’t have anything to add.

Hopefully these City Homicide rumours turn out to be true. Daniel lights up the screen and needs to be flexxing his acting muscles, not another hosting gig.
