Double-edge figures for Biggest Loser

TEN was both a winner and a loser in Thursday’s ratings.

The audience figure for The Biggest Loser finale was 1.995m, down from 2.309m in 2006.

But it was the top show of the night and together with TEN’s other shows, the network had a whopping 33.2% share to Nine’s 23.7% and Seven’s 23.5%.

The other interesting result from last night was the audience for Big Brother. It was the show’s first head-to-head thirty minute edition at 7pm. Home & Away had 1.158m, Big Brother 1.092m and Temptation 1.050m.

Meanwhile Lost slipped under the 1m figure for the first time.

NB: The rating for TBL pertains to its scheduled air-time. As the show ran over, it had 2.09m between 7.31 and 9.49pm (and a peak of 2.66m…. industry ratings always recognise averages).

Further figures for Thursday are available in this week’s ratings.
