Girls from the age of 13 are having sex, some of them not even using protection, and girls say they feel they must perform oral sex in order to keep dating and be popular. The documentary is a frank and provocative expose. Then he meets 16-year-old Lila, a blonde with the face of an angel and a penchant for explicitly discussing sex in public places, which puts her at odds with the majority of the Muslim community. [ABC/8:30pm] Murphy’s Law. Posing as a criminal armourer in what he thought was a routine arrest, Murphy (James Nesbitt) recognises Caz Miller (Michael Fassbender) – known associate of gangland boss and cop killer, Dave Callard (Mark Womack). Miller explains why he wants the weapons; Callard wants an associate, Richard Holloway (Ramon Tikaram), erased.
To the confusion of his back-up, Murphy dumps the wire, stands down the arrest team and makes his offer. If it’s a hit man that’s required, Tommy Murphy has the credentials. Can he gain Callard’s trust, infiltrate his gangland cell and gather enough evidence to put him away?
[ABC/9:20pm] Spooks. A Syrian diplomat indicates he would like to begin secret talks with the UK. Fiona (Olga Sosnovska) volunteers to go undercover and liaise with the diplomat but Adam (Rupert Penry-Jones) is concerned about Fiona’s past. Years ago she was in a disastrous marriage with a Syrian secret service officer, Farook (Darrell d’Silva), whom Adam saved her from by framing Farook, resulting in his execution. Ever since, Fiona has lived under an alias to avoid detection by the Syrians. Checks are made and since no one from her past is present, Fiona is allowed to make contact. As the team prepare to work covertly with the diplomat it becomes clear that Fiona has another agenda, one she is arming herself for – Fiona has discovered that her first husband is still alive and looking for her. Fiona wants to provoke a confrontation so that she can kill her ex-husband and finally escape her past. However, she fails and is kidnapped by Farook. Adam must save Fiona before she is flown out of the country.

[ABC/10:20pm] Parkinson. New Series. On the first episode of this new series of Parkinson, Michael delves into two great partnerships. Elton John and Bernie Taupin, who have written together for nearly forty years, give an insight into how their collaboration has endured the tests of time. And Little Britain creators Matt Lucas and David Walliams talk about all their latest projects and reveal that their only argument on tour arose because David hadn’t shaved before kissing Matt on stage. Referring to a possible fourth series of their hit show Little Britain, Matt and David reveal that they are not averse to the idea despite some negative reactions to the last run. Matt Lucas explains “People will let you know what they like and what they don’t like, and the message we get from people is that they do want to see more… But maybe it’s time to do, I don’t know, a Lou and Andy sitcom, or maybe it’s time to see the characters in a different way. But we wouldn’t be averse to doing another series, and the BBC have said to us ‘We’d love another series of Little Britain'”. Matt Lucas also discusses his impending marriage to partner Kevin McGee, while David reveals he has a wedding pact with Denise Van Outen. David says: “I have a marriage pact with Denise Van Outen. We went on holiday together and we said that if we weren’t married to anybody else in two years time we’d get married. “I think when she said it she was pretty much hoping she’d be married in that space of two years, so I’d be pulling her down the aisle in tears!” Matt Lucas: “She said it as a joke but you’ve taken it very seriously.” David Walliams: “I’ve taken it very seriously yeah, you could do a lot worse…”

Having achieved worldwide recognition with a Golden Globe Award for her work with Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack for ‘Gladiator’, Lisa Gerrard’s life and work has influenced and touched many people. From her beginnings with the 1980s group Dead Can Dance, through to her success as a Hollywood film composer and a solo artist, Lisa Gerrard’s powerful vocal and musical style has captivated fans and filmgoers alike for 20 years. From her childhood amongst the multi-cultural sounds of 1960s Melbourne, her musical influences range from her Celtic ancestry, native Australia, her years living and working in Europe, through to the Middle East. Treating her voice truly as an instrument, used alongside orchestration, she is able to create musical emotions which are timeless. This film is the first intimate portrait of Lisa Gerrard, who shares her deepest most creative and emotional insights on all aspects of her life, beliefs and career. Based on the structure of alchemy, the film is presented in six parts, each signifying corner stones of her life and work. [ABC/7:30pm] Robin Hood. When a mysterious sniper murders innocent people, the finger is pointed at Robin Hood (Jonas Armstrong). The Sheriff (Keith Allen) is nearly killed, and uses this as an opportunity to incriminate Robin. He enlists his Master of Arms, De Fourtnoy (Kwame Kwei-Armah), to carry out more assassinations. As more innocent people are slain, Marian (Lucy Griffiths) investigates the chief suspects: De Fourtnoy and Lacey (Thomas Lockyer), the chief archer who bears a grudge against the Sheriff. When the day of the Sheriff’s walkabout arrives, Robin spots the Nightwatchman acting strangely, but when he catches him it turns out to be Marian in disguise. She tells him that she knows who the real killer is.
The real killer confesses to only two of the murders and Robin confronts the Sheriff over the other killings. Once again Gisborne (Richard Armitage) destroys evidence of the Sheriff’s crimes. Can Robin’s good name be restored and Nottingham made safe again?
[ABC/8:30pm] Showbands. When the Golden Ballroom burned down on opening night, Tony Golden (Liam Cunningham) was left in serious debt. Now his lead singer has quit, the bank is calling in the loan and his long suffering landlady, Gemma (Tina Kellegher), is threatening to throw him out. Tony has completely run out of options when he stumbles upon Denise (Kerry Katona), a shy pub cleaner and wannabe singer whose mop doubles as a microphone. Denise’s voice might be just the thing to save Tony and his ballroom. Tony firmly believes that Denise could be the next big thing – all he has to do is persuade her to lose the dungarees and the attitude, and don the dress, beehive and beads of a 60s showband songstress. Tony enlists the help of local singing sensation and “Irish Elvis” Ricky Duvall (Tom O’Suilleabhain) and his crazy manager, Frank (Don Wycherly). With Gemma’s help, they train and restyle Denise and set off to conquer the local stages. But corruption and opposition bar their way as they fight to gain a foothold on the spotlit stage and complete “showband” domination. Tony’s chief opponent Alan Rendall (Denis Conway) is the most powerful man in the local music business with 20 ballrooms to his credit and bands fighting to play his circuit. It is rumoured that he was responsible for the fire which destroyed the Golden Ballroom.

Now the sunlight rich countries in the sub-Sahara export solar energy to the rest of the world. Regional wars flare up regularly over access to water and energy. Virtually all warfare is “asymmetric” – fought between small, mobile, technologically sophisticated armies and brutal militia. AI (artificial intelligence) weaponry and defence has developed to counter this but the most dangerous weaponry is now genetic.
