UK hopes for the X Factor at Eurovision

Andy Abraham, an X Factor runner up, will represent the UK at this year’s Eurovision singing his song “Even If.”

Abraham was announced by Terry Wogan as the country’s choice to appear at Eurovision, scheduled for May 24 in Serbia.

He defeated singer Michelle Gayle with her song “Woo (You Got Me).”

Being the UK, he may well have won on the strength of his flashy shirt, but at least it’s a better entry than Ireland’s puppet, Dustin.

  1. It doesn’t matter how good the UK song is, they will still bomb as all the other countries hate them. They’ve even changed the voting this year to try and get them out of last place.
Also, Eurovision 2008 is May 24 not March.

  2. BORING! they arent an eastern european country and the song/performance has no point of difference to it..not a chance in hell this will win! my moneys on Iceland or the gimmick of the Irish puppet may get it over the line!!
