Gallery: Tracy Grimshaw & Gordon Ramsay

“How the F*** are you?” Tracy asked Gordon.

If ever there was a reminder what Tracy Grimshaw brings to A Current Affair it was her interview last night with the boisterous cook. It was an inspired idea to bring Tracy back to Sydney for a one on one interview with Ramsay at the Good Food and Wine Show, they’d never have managed the same interview via a studio feed.

Tracy was so relaxed and joyous in this chat, showing another side to her persona, that it made for entertaining viewing. I could never imagine Anna Coren, Ray Martin, Eddie McGuire being this natural. Only Jana or Andrew Denton would have been so candid.

Top marks to Grimshaw for being so comfortable in her skin as to allow this to be filmed and aired.

Veal, said Tracy is “little baby cows.”

A giggling Tracy denying she had a leather thong for her bootylicious. “I actually don’t, funnily enough!”

The full 13 minute interview is on the ACA website.

  1. I think that Tracey Grimshaw is the only TV personality – giving her true opinions on air. It was not a pre-recorded message she gave on Monday, nor did it sound like something tv executives would serve up. It is great to think that real opinions come out of TV…

Reality TV ; or not – is never too real these days.

Nice dose of real Tracey. well done

  2. Who the hell is Tracy Grimshaw anyway, some half baked presenter on a pathetic show. Maybe she should get back into the kitchen, eat some good food and work on that a** of hers.
    ch ch boom!

  3. I feel sorry for Tracy having to interview a chinese Shar pei the other night. What amazed me it even said ” F***”. Tracy well done on keeping a straight face . Gordon doesn’t seem too intelligent to me. Another of those so called celebs wrapped up in their own self importance. Enough said.

  4. Good on you Tracy – I actually gave you a clap after Mondays ACA comment.

About time these self opinionated bullies got a serve – honestly what a moron, one trick pony who should nick off an retire. Eddie Murphy was using the “‘F”‘ word long before he thought of it. It was naught then -no its just boring and shows your lack of intellect. And really what are parents thinking taking their kids to his shows?? The IQ level is dropping rapidly in the world .

  5. Why do we even bother giving foul mouth, bullies like Gordon Ramsay an interview. It’ s their way of getting publicity just as they like it and one can see he has absolutely no whatsoever respect for women. I personally would not even bother looking at one of his books nor would I bother dining at any of his restaurants. We have many unknown chefs who are just waiting for their chance here in Australia who deserve the publicity more than he does.
Good on you Tracey for standing up to this. Bullies should not get away with such nonsense

  6. Tracy is a joke. It’s about time someone finally had a go at these so called journalists who day after day find everyday people and target them for the sake of ratings. Well Tracy it’s about time that these ratings were at your expense.

  7. Well done.. A Classy Professional explanation of your workplace tasks. Your reply was tasteful and factual. I knew you would toy with the idea of saying nothing – but this puts everything in its place – and gets the subject over and done – in your usual inemitable way. Class Class Class, All Women aspiring to raise to the top of their profession, should have you as a guide…

  8. What goes around comes aroung! I think Tracy Grimshaw deserved this. I personally can’t stand her self-righteous, full of her own air demeanour. After the Mathew Johns interview, I find her sickening. The dig maybe a bit harsh but yes she deserves it.

  9. keep tracy on tv until she has all those forehead wrinkles that Gordon Ramsey does – and she still will not look as much like a pig as he does – He really does look like a pig… don’t you think…. (and he sure sounds like one)…

love intelligent, beautiful, effervessent Tracey. You are the best. Don’t change – not even one speck on that face – don’t let tv execs get you to change a thing. It is the essence of you that makes you a TV star – and your brains (and your naturalness attractiveness).

Go Gordon pig Ramsay don’t ever come back.

  10. Get Gordon out of the country, i am going to write a complaint to all of his michellen star restaurants in London – and see if the message gets back to the London press and his wife – to show him how rude he is. Tracey is so strong, love the fact she has not gone the way of most blonde tv bimbos – and cut off any moles etc., she is a natural beauty and an intelligent girl ever. And the most lovely effervessent caring personality. Keep her on TV until she is full of wrinkles!

  11. I wonder is Gordon Ramsay is aware that he needs botox??
Am i the only one on this planet, that doesnt find him attractive???
He is a Chef and he has food poisoning???
He should know what he is putting in his mouth, if he is any good!!
He should know if something doesnt taste right, shoudnt he??
I dont watch his shows,,,,and i cant understand why his wife stays with him.
She must have a screw loose too, i think!!!!

  12. Tracy Grimshaw did a great job, She is so genuinely funny & down to earth and can really relate to almost anyone. Apart from that, she has a fantastic sense of humour & really knows how to get down & dirty with some of these celebs. She's did a great job with Ramsay, I think he takes quite a shine to her also…. deffinately some sort of chemistry there….. then again, who wouldn't!?!?

  13. it was a great interview like David said Tracy was clearly relaxed and joyful in the interviewing Gordon f****ing Ramsey and it would have never have worked that well in a live feed there were quite a few beeps in the interview which made the interview even better and this was a very rare occasion where ACA beat TT in the ratings great stuff Tracy

  14. We are the only country in the world giving Ramsey a hard time about his swearing (except France but they don’t count lol). Think about that, this country is becoming so righteous, so hypocritical and loving the smell of our own “gas” its quite sickening.

  15. I Disagree with both the comments above. I thought it was a wonderful Interview by Tracey. She didnt avoid anything and when Gordan didnt answer a question of hers she said to him. “Where did that come from i asked you about a Australian TV Show”. Well Done Tracey you deserve a pat on the back!

  16. Amazing a forced sentence that is uttered in our country thousands of times everyday is considered news.
So out of touch are networks and TV media.
