Rochester due in court next month

Fraud charges against Biggest Loser’s Ajay Rochester have been adjourned until July 8 when Downing Centre Local Court will hear 23 charges of illegally receiving the single parent payment from Centrelink.

Her solicitor told the court he understood his client was “overseas”, believed to be holidaying in Fiji. A magistrate adjourned the case which will require Rochester to appear in person.

The Daily Telegraph reports the charges include 19 counts of obtaining a financial advantage from a Commonwealth entity and four of engaging in conduct to obtain a financial advantage when she was not eligible, between December 2001 and December 2005.
