The premiere of Alan Sugar: The Apprentice did not interest enough viewers last night, despite the massive promotion it received during the Olympics.
Following on from the 1.4m viewers of Criminal Minds, it plummeted to just 583,000 viewers. The Apprentice format is one that Nine put to rest some time ago.
Seven is wasting no time in addressing the matter by shifting it to 10:30pm as of next Wednesday, replaced with a repeat ep of Criminal Minds.
This leaves Beyond Boiling Point and the final two episodes of The Unit out of schedule.
Cavemen will air at 11:50pm. Meanwhile, Prison Break returns to US screens next week…..

The Apprentice is one of the best shows on tv at the moment.
I hope this is not a sign for the future. After arriving back in Oz from England, I can say this is one of the best shows you will ever see. And Australian TV is so lame, something like this will perk it up. Was the rubbish USA version of this show popular? If it was, that is not a good sign.
