Next top project for Charlotte

Charlotte Dawson will remain a judge on Foxtel's modelling series, waiting quietly in the wings.

Charlotte Dawson will not be hosting the next series of Australia’s Next Top Model. Instead, she will remain a judge on the show with a view to a new project with Foxtel.

“It’s such an exciting project and perfect for me, so I’m happy to keep my role as it is (on ANTM) and concentrate on that,” she said.

News.com.au reports that the project will involve a large, live studio audience.

Meanwhile, the search for a new ANTM host has begun in earnest, with a Foxtel spokesman confirming that potential candidates were being considered “both here and overseas”.

“The next series doesn’t start filming until January so we have a bit of time up our sleeve, but our search will be extensive. We don’t want to rush it,” he said.

  1. Disappointed to here Charlotte won’t be hosting – but hopefully we someone ‘famous’ getting the role – the other story posted on here talks about some chick i’ve never heard of and IMO would be a horrible choice.

  2. I don’t like these shows but i watch a few eps to warrent giving my opinion. I have to say Charlotte was the best thing about the show, she was honest, insightful and always gave constructive opinions. Jodhi was a terrible host she so obviously favored certain girls(last times winner was a fav and no-one could say a bad word about her) And i think her leaving is good. I’d stick with an Aussie host though why overseas? We got talent here? Why not get Elle or even megan they have heaps of knowledge and would bring big big ratings!

Charlotte would have made a great host.
