US Open: update

Nine will screen the Serena Williams v Jelena Jankovic match live Monday at 11am. Roger Federer v Andy Murray will air live 7:30am Tuesday.

Nine made some swift changes to its US Open plans late yesterday which will see the Serena Williams v Jelena Jankovic match air live at 11am AEST.

The telecast will end at 12pm when The View begins. Update: Nine has continued with the tennis.

The Men’s Final, originally scheduled for 6:30 – 9am is replaced by Today.

Highlights of the Nadal v Murray semi will air for one hour at 11:30pm tonight.

Update: Roger Federer v Andy Murray match to air live 7:30 -9:30am Tuesday Sept 9.

  1. Good old channel nine/WIN over here in the west obviously couldn’t give a rat’s about tennis fans. It is now 6.53am WST. Just got home from night shift, put the TV on to watch the tennis, which should have started at 5.30am WST, and there we have the Today show. Good one channel nine/WIN.

  2. Channel Nine are a disgrace when it comes down to sport broadcasting. not showing the nadal/murray semi live then rushing off to the view and din’t broadcast the trophy presentation. I remember when there was a time when they would all days of the us open. now we get this crap.
