90210 on Monday, then Sunday.

UPDATED: All the details of TEN's first week of summer are here, with 90210 leading Sunday nights.

Updated: See new schedule below.

90210 will air as a Sunday 7:30pm show for summer.

“Hollywood Forever”, the seventh episode in the series screens on Sunday November 30th, but it follows the show returning next week on Monday night. We’re haven’t even started summer and already shows are moving nights…

TEN’s first week of summer will also include the return of America’s Next Top Model, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Orange Roughies and Big Cat Diary. Meanwhile, Neighbours, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Out of the Blue and The Office continue.

Army Wives, featuring Kim Delaney will also premiere. The US drama follows the lives of four army wives, their families plus one “army husband” whose wife is in the army. The first week of summer will also include a new special on Britney Spears.

But there are a lot of repeats coming from TEN including The Simpsons, House, Numb3rs, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Will and Grace and Rules of Engagement.

Initial plans for Thank God You’re Here, Ice Road Truckers, Swingtown, Burn Notice and even (gasp) MacGyver are shelved.

  1. Best Friday night Lineup Ten has had in forever – Numb3rs and Law & Order should attract a decent older audience on Fridays and Simpsons reruns will do much better than Ice Road Truckers

  2. Er, where exactly does it state 10 isn’t going to show Californication over summer? Or going to finish it off, how ever many episodes there are for season 2?

  3. That’s a good lineup, much better than the atrocity that is Channel Nine. At least when Ten pick up a new series (Army Wives) they give it a shot at an 8:30pm slot, instead of shafting it to 10:30pm like other networks. I think it would have been a better idea to put Rush on at 8:30pm Wednesdays or Thursdays though, it would have given it a better shot at finding an audience instead of ancient House and CI repeats. Also great to see Rules of Engagement back, one of the best sitcoms at the moment. Although it would have probably been better if they put it in the 7pm slot instead of Will and Grace, they have 22 eps which they could play and it would gain the show a large audience. At least its something recent. Or they could go the logical route and give The Office a decent shot as they are 2 seasons behind the US at the moment, but that is highly unlikely

  4. Californication only has 12 eps in S2 and it ends mid Dec in the US.

I was hoping they would keep it going since we are just on week behind them but if they take it off then I’ll have to get them from my friend 😀

  5. House and NCIS are continuing in the US, it is just that Ten won’t air new episodes during summer. Plus, in America, it is coming towards Thanksgiving at the end of November when many dramas (including House and NCIS) are taking their mid-season breaks.

  6. Rick to quote the KMan that’s kooky talk. No network is going to waste new eps of their successful shows during summer.

Not a bad line-up from 10 (not as good as 9s but better then 7s) the highlight being the excellent Numb3rs and more NCIS rpts. Of course had they gone ahead with MacGyver it would have been the highlight of the entire summer!!

  7. will & grace. bad decision,
    90210, good decision,
i reckon channel ten should have like a “teen night”
with 90210, supernatural, smallville, and get gossip girl from channel 9.
    sundays could be teen night:)
    7:30 – 90210
    8:30 – Gossip Girl
    9:30 – Smallville
    10:30 – supernatural

  8. Where are all the new eps of NCIS? They cant have finished already!
Good move by TEN putting 90210 on Sundays. Will definitely attract a bigger audience. Thankgod Will & Grace is still on too 🙂 How many repeats are the planning to show? Good Lord!

  9. i don’t think there were very many shows i was waiting for 10 to bring back in summer besides 90210. but 9 has been a real disappointment as there were a few shows they were supposed to air and aren’t. so now we are just waiting for 7, and hopefully they will be the best and not pull a 9 by not airing the shows people have been waiting for. this summer was looking good until the networks decided to put on repeats instead of new shows that are sitting on the shelf, guess i’ll be catching up on my dvds.

  10. According to epguides.com/house these are the upcoming episodes:

    94. 5- 8 18 Nov 08 Emancipation
    95. 5- 9 25 Nov 08 Last Resort
    96. 5-10 2 Dec 08 Let Them Eat Cake

I’m sure a new episode of house opposite repeat competition will draw in more viewers if they fast-track the (i assume) last episode for the year.

  11. So no more “seriously fastracked” House? I understand that it’s a program they want to screen during the ratings season, but come on, it’s on until the end of May. You’d think they’d be able to fastrack House for it’s entire US season, then between May and September find something else to stick in there…

  12. One thing that really gets up my nose is when networks intertwine new episodes with repeats. Seems that the are doing that the House in the 8:30pm slot. And personally, I’m not happy that Californication has been taken off the air. Back to channel BT for me 🙂

  13. ok now i’m already getting scared this show will never screen. i’ve been waiting for it’s return. and now channel ten is already moving it around. It’s not even gonna be in the ratings period. so why bother moving it??? Keep it in one slot!

  14. They only have 2 Burn Notice eps left until it returns in January in the US.

Ice Road Truckers – has 2 season and ch10 have shown a hand full of eps.

Pity 90210 is moving to Sundays but at least they are showing it.

  15. aw watching macgyver would have been cool, i don’t think i ever really saw the early episodes, probably saw the odd one here or there but mostly my knowledge of it is just from the simpsons and other shows and movies that make reference to it. i think they should start reviving some of these old series, tv on dvd is hugely popular and with extra digital channels they will have more time to fill so doing what pay tv does and showing repeats of old shows could have been good.
