ITV drops Trinny & Susannah

Sorry ladies, show's over for now says ITV.

Trinny and Susannah have reportedly been dropped by ITV after pulling in under 1.8 million viewers for their latest series Meet Their Match.

The Mirror reports that the duo’s £1.2 million contract will come to an end after the final episode in the three-part series airs this week.

ITV bosses were reported to have delayed the series last autumn so that it could be rebranded to address the pair’s falling ratings.

A spokesman said: “Trinny and Susannah have been part of the ITV family for several years and are currently two episodes into a three-part series. Any decision regarding future programming will be taken in due course.”

During their last Aussie visit the fashionistas were a big hit on the shopping centre circuit, but their last series failed to fire on Seven.

  1. no huge shock here, their ratings have been terrible since they defected from BBC to ITV, furthermore, ITV is in huge cost cutting mode at the moment as the current financial situation has hit them hard, so not having to pay these two will save them a bit, also announced during the week, ITV have cut the bill down from two to one episode per week, but its moving to a later timeslot to tackle “grittier” issues!

  2. The breasts episode of this show got 1.7 million viewers. I myself watched it lol, it was enjoyable haha. But after that the gimmick wore off and ratings quickly plummeted before it was bumped to a 10:30 Sunday slot by Seven. I’m not surprised its been axed

  3. I think people have had enough of Trinny &Sussanah, so called fashion experts.
Problem is most fashion experts paraded out on TV dress poorly themselves and seem to think that everyone has loads of money to buy 20 outfits
