When Frost meets Corcoran

Legendary journo David Frost will tell Foreign Correspondent that Kevin Rudd has turned him down four times.

frostForeign Correspondent‘s Mark Corcoran next week will interview legendary UK journalist David Frost. These days Frost has a weekly current affairs program on the Al-Jazeera English channel, seen in 140 million homes in 100 countries.

At his London headquarters, the satirist, celebrity interviewer, entrepreneur opens up on Frost/Nixon, and what he would like to ask Osama bin Laden and George Bush.

Frost reckons he’s interviewed dozens of world leaders, including Yasser Arafat, the last Shah of Iran, six British PMs and seven US Presidents, but Kevin Rudd has turned him down no less than four times.

For 50 years David Frost has shared the world’s stage with the powerful, rich and famous – and tonight he’s sharing it with Foreign Correspondent’s Mark Corcoran.

Also Helen Vatsikopoulos meets Malaysia’s former male model Dr Sheik Muszaphar Shukor, who’s become the country’s first astronaut.

Apparently it took a hundred religious scholars two days to agree on the rules of, Islam in space, because the sun goes up and down every 45 minutes in space, meaning in theory Muslims should pray 80 times a day. Yikes!
