Andre, don’t give up your day job.
The Dutch maestro might be a wiz on the Stradivarius but he won't be up for any AFI's for guest actor or a Logie as Best New Talent.

Andre Rieu gets points for being a good sport, but that’s about as far as it goes in his Neighbours guest appearance tomorrow night.
He’s terrible!

He smiles through a clumsy delivery of dialogue, that isn’t helped by his Dutch accent 9well, we can forgive him that part).
But who cares? It’s all too hilarious having him in Ramsay Street in the first place. Nearly as fun as the Little Britain boys. In the end it really doesn’t matter because it’s such a trashy idea you can’t help but enjoy the moment anyway.
Catch it Tuesday night at 6:30pm.

take any fish out of its natural waters and what happens?…
lol, oh well at least we actually get to hear him talk not just miming in the background I supose.
Will it <> “Change Ramsey st. Forever”??…. seems everything else does
I saw Andre Rieu in concert in November last year and would have to say that he’s one of the most entertaining and versatile performers I’ve ever seen. His ensemble orchestra and performing artists were all outstanding and his english is perfectly fine. I think he was probably nervous when he appeared on Neighbours.
I would think that the violin did a great job…
All wooden and all…
Heck, if Ricki-Lee and Dean Geyer are up for Best New Talent, who knows, Andre might just be in with a show. 😉
I can’t believe they are promoting this as an ‘event’ LOL
He’s terrible? Who’d have guessed? 😀
