With a Logie nomination and a Digital Emmy this week for the telemovie Scorched, it might be fortuitous for Nine to give the film another run.
There were plenty of people who missed it last year, and with the Easter non-ratings period coming up, it would be a good chance for some to see it before the Logies in early May.
Except for one problem.
Its entire premise revolves around bushfires.
TV Tonight understands Nine was considering another screening of the telemovie, but the timing was all wrong.

I think the fact that it was a poor production should have dictated it never be re-run again. Awards or no awards.
City Homicide was far more desrving of a nomination.
argh, this logie nomination makes me angrier every day. if it was a popular award i wouldn’t argue. but for “most outstanding drama” the old men in the office have really let us down.
CH, SP, EOE, even canal road. deserved that nomination so much more than this.
Given quite how bad this show actually was, I think it should be buried at the bottom of the channel 9 vault. Such a waste of great actors!
Under statement of the year!
agree like you said now would have been the a great time for an encore with the win and nomination and the Easter break, but as a result of the recent bush-fires it really is the worst time.
