Former Lost star Dominic Monaghan is joining the cast of the new US drama, FlashForward, to screen on Seven in Australia.
The sci-fi, based on the novel by Robert J. Sawyer, the show asks: What would you do if you were given a glimpse of the future? Would you accept what you saw and live life to its fullest, or would you do everything in your power to change your destiny? In FlashForward, when the world’s population is given a glimpse of its future, it forces everyone to come to grips with whether their destinies can be fulfilled or avoided.
Seven has already run teasers for the show following the LA screenings, even though the show doesn’t premiere in the US until late September.
The cast includes Joseph Fiennes, John Cho, Jack Davenport, and Courtney B. Vance.
So far it isn’t clear what role Monaghan will play. Although he isn’t in the two-hour pilot episode he will apparently appear in later episodes.

Pffft. He’s just jealous because he missed all the flash forwards in season 5 of lost.
The promos for this had me hooked. I’m looking forward to it.
Given the advertising already on Seven, it’ll definitely be fast tracked!
@ Craig. It was recently confirmed in one of the Seven Corporate media releases that FlashForward will air this year on Seven.
This show does look interesting, do we know if Seven with fasttrast it?
