Farmer wants a pixellation

Media are going to extraordinary lengths just to shield the identity of reality TV contestants.

Who would have thought it was necessary to blur the faces of a farmer from the media?

But this recent photo from the upcoming series of The Farmer Wants a Wife published in Mildura’s Sunraysia Daily newspaper, pixellates one of the blokes, presumably to keep his identity hush hush.

As a Virgin Blue jet landed on the regional runway, about 70 people watched a camera crew filming his arrival with three ladies he had chosen to spend more time with. Wouldn’t they be the ones that should be pixellated?

In any event they weren’t visible in the photo either.

According to the article, their arrival even caused “a stir” among the locals.

And probably a few sheep too.

Nine’s website has profiles on potential bachelors including Devon from Victoria, Mick from NSW, Nathan from WA, Shaun from WA, Jamie from WA, Maree from Qld, and Beck from SA but has removed 3 others. Six will be included in the series due on Nine this year.
