OK, looks like I need to “work” from home that day 🙂
Given that nine edited the live broadcast when they replayed it in the evening last year, I’ll be taping it and watching it back when it suits me! And seeing everything this time!
Hooray for Hollywood!!
last year i took the day off work but this year its on a public holiday (well in Victoria it is anyway) 🙂
Excellent thanks David this is great news – and as Johnson notes below, its a Public Holiday here in SA. I think an Oscars bash is in order…..
Yay! I’ll be taking the day off!!
Woohoo! It was so nice last year not to have to avoid media and have the surprise spoiled! I’m glad to see it wasn’t just a one-of inspired by Hugh Jackman’s hosting :-).
As March 8 is a public holiday in ACT (Canberra Day), South Australia (at least in Adelaide due to Adelaide Cup) and Victoria (Labour Day), a lot more people may be watching the daytime telecast at home.
Thanks for that news David.
I reckon Nine’s line up at the red carpet may be boosted by some people wanting to extend their North American visit a few days.
In plain English: Nine’s going to have people there that have just left Vancouver.
