Dannii returns to AGT, Brian McFadden imminent.

A report says Dannii is confirmed to return to Australia's Got Talent while Brian McFadden will be announced as the third judge.

Talk has ramped up on the two judging chairs beside Kyle Sandilands on Australia’s Got Talent.

The Sunday Telegraph reports on the return of the expectant Dannii Minogue, noting a Seven spokesperson confirmed her imminent signing.

Meanwhile media has tipped Brian McFadden to indeed win the third seat on the judging panel.

Last Thursday, entertainment reporter Peter Ford confirmed his role on Radio 3AW despite Seven declining to comment. Today the Sydney Morning Herald adds fuel to the fire, claiming he is in negotiations with the network. Both claims follow previous speculation that he was a  likely candidate.

The former Westlife singer has previously appeared as a guest judge on Australian Idol (pictured) and as co-host of the FOX8 reality series Football Superstar. He is also best known in Australia as the partner of Delta Goodrem.

McFadden would join with his good friend Kyle Sandilands on the fourth series of the Seven talent show.

Red Symons, who appeared in Australian Story last Monday night, is expected to return to Hey Hey its Saturday, while Tom Burlinson is now all but out of the show …unless there is a surprise fourth judging chair, but the “three strikes” format of the show makes it unlikely.

Auditions for AGT are already underway around the country with producers.

  1. Well apparently Australia doesn’t have a talent because we have to get an Irishman and a douche with no talent to judge. I won’t be watching this year. Can’t stand Kyle, and Brian is boring. Bad move Seven.

  2. Dannii, I love you but there is no way in hell I could sit through even an episode of a show with the other two clowns, BTW David, has there been any word from Foxtel if football superstar was returning this year? It wasnt a bad little show

  3. While I’m sure Brian McFadden would be a good additon, isn’t his fiance Deltra Goodrem planning on moving to the U.S.?

One would have assumed McFadden would join her over there, which would then preclude him from being on the show – unless he’s going to commute between countries.

Not surprised Red Symons would be going back to Hey Hey – I must also admit my admiration for him rose after seeing him on Australian Story last Monday – I reckon he deserves a Father of the Year award after that.
