Grey Gardens awarded

American Cinema Editors and the Art Directors Guild both recognise Grey Gardens while Mad Men, Dexter, 30 Rock and Weeds all picked up prizes too.

Awards season rolls on in the US with two more organisations handing out their accolades: the American Cinema Editors and the Art Directors Guild.

Grey Gardens with Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore was a winner in both.

It was also a winner in the Dorian Awards, introduced by the new Gay & Lesbian Entertainment Critics Assn., singled out as TV Drama of the Year while Glee was named the TV musical or comedy of the year. Lifetime’s gay teen suicide tale Prayers for Bobby was picked as the best LGBT TV Drama.
