  1. @ Jed – I think the US tv ratings only class primetime ratings from 8pm and therefore news programs are not included in the ratings.

I think the same thing should happen here. It’s seriously cringeworthy knowing how many people watch TT and ACA

  2. Happy to see shows like Good Wife, NCIS and Cougar Town right up there, gutted to see shows like Airways and Customs actually getting views… if I wanted to see angry people rage at nothing, I’d switch off the TV and tell my sister her boyfriend is a douche….

  3. @pietro – yes ONE HD is great quality but here on the Sunshine coast ONE SD (ch12) suffers with constant drop outs and picture break up, it’s like they don’t want you to watch the SD. What worries me is if and when they change the SD to a general entertainment channel like GO! and 7TWO then first the quality needs to be fix but more important me the 1000s of others with SD HDD/DVD recorders will have lost the ability to record the sports channel, short of buying a HD set to box which is a wast of one channel and limited use.

    Sorry for the rant…

  4. Look at that, 2.5 Men #2 show nationally, in Adelaide it’s not even in the Top 30.

Just a question, how does the news rate in US?? Everyone’s outraged it’s the #1 rating prgram here, just seems like a formality people watch the evening news so i don’t see what the fuss is.

  5. agree with pietro – great effort by ONE HD to show the AFL live into Sydney as the pre-season cup isnt on the anti-siphoning list. The govt really needs to relax the laws to allow 7 to show Friday Night Footy and TEn to show Saturday night footy not involving the Lions or Swans into Brisbane and Sydney on their digital channels!

  6. I wonder how much it costs 10 to have the HD channel….with 1% of the programming it seems hardly worth it.

On the other hand it is the only FTA HD channel that has any sort of decent picture quality. All the others are so starved of bit-rate they are often unwatchable. It was so good to watch the AFL on ONEHD last night after 7s appalling effort from Perth on Friday night.
