Susan Boyle is rumoured to be a guest appearance at this year’s Logie Awards, to be held on May 2nd.
The Britain’s Got Talent superstar has previously indicated a desire to visit Australia.
Well, if they can’t lure her maybe they can get Smasan Boyle, Japan’s answer to the recording industry’s new sensation?

Please let this be true!! I would pay to see Subo there with all our Aussie stars!
We need Shaun Micallef or Matt Preston as Most Popular Presenter, vote now it closes Friday.
I don’t think Susan Boyle is third rate at least she can sing. it seems when you became famous some people shoot you down – the tall poppy thingy- a shame.
I would like to see the logies to award the writers and directors as they do at the emmys – Outstanding Director for a Drama Series, comedy/Variety show etc.
And SanBo will be huge!
Hopefully she’ll be at the Logie’s to launch her career!
I agree with you Patrick 100%. Reg Watson created some of the best Australian dramas ever made and he should be nominated for the hall of fame.
Patrick, what are you on about? SuBo is huge!
Or Dave Hughes in a wig?
LOL, this is funny although I didn’t understand any word that’s been said, haha!
Is there any sub-titles available??
I reckon Smasan Boyle will be cheaper.
What the!?
So funny even though i didn’t understand a word…lol
Let’s get her for our logies
If there was ever a reason not to watch the Logies, this takes the cake.
Not that i’ll be watching anyway.
Whatever happened to the really big names that used to come to the Logies?
I find it a bit depressing seeing 3rd tier stars come here…yes I agree there have been a few that have been good in the last few years, but the majority have been of the ‘flash in the pan variety’.
While I’m at it I want to put my nomination in for this year’s Logie Hall of Fame. I said this person’s name last year and I’ll say it again:
Reg Watson – creator of many lasting shows such as Prisoner, Sons and Daughters, The Young Doctors, Neighbours – the list goes on.
Without Mr Watson I seriously doubt the Australilan TV drama industry would have been anywhere near as successful – and the worldwide success of those shows speak for themselves.
If for some reason Mr Watson declines the award then my next choice would be Bevan Lee, who has done equally stellar work over the decades in drama.
I think it’s about time both of those gents finally got the recognition they deserve!
