Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television:
Larry David

One Response

  1. Does anyone else have any trouble working out the relative gravitas to attach to these awards when there are so many different awards given out? (Emmys, Golden Globes, Screen Actor’s Guild, Writer’s Guild, People’s Choice, others I’ve forgotten…).

I get that in this case, the Writer’s Guild Awards focus on the writing, but by this stage I’m thinking “Mad Men”/”Dexter” won another award for drama, “30 Rock”/”The Office” won another one for comedy,… yawn.

David, perhaps after this current cycle of awards concludes, you could add together all the awards particular shows have won and announce the “TV Tonight Awards for Television Awards”. You can have that one for free. 😉
