Hey Dad! investigation continues

NSW Police yesterday refused to comment on whether they will interview a man at the centre of Hey Dad! abuse allegations.

NSW Sex Crimes Squad boss Detective Superintendent John Kerlatec yesterday refused to comment on whether police will interview a man at the centre of Hey Dad! abuse allegations.

Former child star Sarah Monahan has now given more than 35 hours of interviews over her claims which made national headlines in March.

Police are now interviewing former cast and crew of the Seven 1980s sitcom. A media blackout now surrounds the case.

Monahan, who is now ambassador for national sexual assault advocacy group Braveheart, has returned to the US with her husband.

On her website she has encouraged other victims of abuse to come forward and speak out.

After speaking to media in March, Sarah Monahan was publicly supported by most of the other principal cast members in her claims.
