Australia’s Got Talent: Grand Finalists

Father and son singer-guitarists Cameron and Taylor Henderson are the last two contenders for the Grand Final of Australia's Got Talent.

Father and son singer-guitarists Cameron and Taylor Henderson  (pictured) were last night announced as the last two contenders for the 2010 Grand Final of Australia’s Got Talent.

Both had entered the contest as a duo, but after being split by judges have both proceeded all the way to the Grand Final as friendly competitors.

They joined previous finalists Rolling Entertainment, Brianna Bishop, Adam Murby, Aimee Elizabeth, Justice Crew and Bobby Andonov in competing for the $250,000 prize and title.

Dance trouple Justice Crew wowed the judges last night with a dynamic performance while hot favourite singer Bobby Andonov was told he picked the wrong song for the Final. If the outcome follows anything like Susan Boyle’s grand final in Britain’s Got Talent, the dance act will win.

Phone voting continues until midday Friday with the winner to be announced next week in a show featuring 2009 winner Mark Vincent, and judge Brian McFadden performing his new single.

  1. Oh dear, whilst the talent was great – the show should have been called Dragnet – and boy didnt he drag it out – I guess the host could make a career of show dragging – maybe likes the sound of his voice. If we have talent for entertaining, then generally speaking a singer can entertain for say over 1 hour, but who wants to see street dancers for over an hour- OK as support acts I guess as the dancers were excellent, the singer lost out – just the same as in the UK Talent, one of the great singers lost out to a dance troupe – We should have seen some of the top acts instead of the chat – it is supposed to be show business !! Maybe the majority of voters were teenagers , who wouldnt appreciate a good voice over a hip-hop bunch of lads.

  2. It’s not often I agree with the Extra Source guy but I must say that the father and son making it to the final two is just a bit too convenient for me.
