Tomorrow marks the first anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson.
This weekend MTV Australia and MTV Classic will premiere Top 20 Jackson Countdown and Famous Crime Scenes – Michael Jackson, specially produced superfan video vignettes and replays of Michael Jackson: Human Nature, Michael Jackson’s Influence of Music, and Michael Jackson’s Top 10 Video Countdown.
“Top 20 Jackson Countdown”
Jermaine Jackson tells intimate stories and shares memories from the Jackson family’s musical life as he counts down pivotal tracks by the Jackson 5, Janet and Michael Jackson including ‘Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough’ ‘Billie Jean’ and ‘Thriller’ by Michael Jackson, ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ and ‘Rhythm Nation’ by Janet Jackson and ‘Blame It On The Boogie’ and ‘ABC’ by the Jackson 5.
“Famous Crime Scenes – Michael Jackson”
Follow LAPD detectives in their investigation of the sudden and shocking death of the King of Pop. Will this ongoing homicide investigation turn into a criminal case? Who will be responsible for this music legend’s tragic and controversial death?
MJ Moonwalk Vignettes
Over 20 years ago, Michael Jackson unveiled his signature moonwalk to millions of people and made dance floor history. Now Michael Jackson fans will get a chance to express their appreciation for the King of Pop with their own interpretations of the famous floating-on-air move – which will be featured in a series of powerful spots.
“Michael Jackson: Human Nature”
This half-hour special sheds light on Michael Jackson the person through a series of anecdotes from those who actually knew him or spent time with him. These stories will speak less about the influential entertainment icon and more about a real man who impacted those who knew him as a wonderful human being.
“Michael Jackson’s Influence of Music”
This is a 60-minute collection of videos by many of the top artists in music who are, in some way, inspired by Michael Jackson. During each video there will be scrolled messages about Michael from many of the artists featured, along with Michael Jackson trivia. At different points throughout the special, several of the featured artists will also discuss Michael and his impact on their life and art.
“Michael Jackson’s Top 10 Video Countdown”
This 90 minute special counts down Michael Jackson’s top 10 videos as determined by the amount of times each video has been viewed by MTV’s US audiences on mtv.com. Running in between the videos will be rare Michael Jackson MTV interview moments where he discusses many of the songs featured. In addition, viewers will get to see some of Michael’s incredible MTV Video Music Awards performances.
They will air this weekend June 25-27. No times have been supplied.

Come on folks , MJ Is a was a Icon to many people ,The tribute programs only went on for at least a week after he died and today Is a year since he passed on, let the fans have there chance to remember , It’s not like It’s taking too much TV air time anyway .
