Airdate: Dora’s Big Birthday Adventure

This month marks ten years since Dora the Explorer first appeared on television screens in the U.S. and to celebrate Nick Jr. will screen a 10th Anniversary movie‐length episode Dora’s Big Birthday Adventure.

The special sees characters from throughout the series come together for Dora’s birthday party, and is a nod to The Wizard of Oz with celebrity voices such as Rosie Perez as La Bruja (the witch), John Leguizamo as the Flying Monkeys and Hector Elizondo as the Wishing Wizzle.

Dora has been watched in Australia for seven years, and is now heard in 30 different languages spanning more than 151 markets.

It airs on Nick Jr. on Saturday August 21 at 5pm.
