Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, will attempt to rebuild her reputation via a six part series Finding Sarah to air in early 2011 on Oprah Winfrey‘s yet-to-launch cable network OWN.
The move follows the cash-strapped Ferguson being exposed by the UK newspaper News of the World for trying to sell access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, for more than $700,000.
“I’m doing this because I need to heal my mind, body and spirit,” Ferguson said in a statement. “After 22 years of raising my two amazing daughters, it’s time for me to mother myself. My hope is that sharing my journey will help someone else.”
OWN programmer Lisa Erspamer said, “With the help of experts Dr. Phil McGraw, Suze Orman, Martha Beck and others, The Duchess will open up about her recent public troubles and explore her lifelong battles with weight, relationships and finances.”
“She will look to put the past behind her and move forward to a positive future.”
And presumably a more lucrative future….

Oh this will be a huge car crash. I can’t wait!
Oprah hasn’t tweeted for 4 months. Does she have nothing to say?
Just look for the freebies and you’ll ‘find Sarah’.
Do we need to find Sarah? We see her in magazines and on TV all the time I don’t think she’s lost!!
