Ian Thorpe is said to be looking at a new television project, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The self-produced show is said to be set inside his house and feature a different guest coming over to cook dinner and have a chat each week.
“We may be doing something soon – I don’t know when,” he said. “I have a lot of ideas – it’s pretty clear in my head but just depends.
“It will be lifestyle-based.”
Thorpe fronted Undercover Angels for Seven in 2002, after an appearance on Friends in 2000. He was also one of Foxtel’s key ambassadors.
So far no network is on board.

Thanks but no thanks.
Hold on…more cooking? This is such a lazy concept!
Thorpie doing a lifestyle show? …Nah, too easy. XD
David once again your sub-editor skills in picking great article titles never ceases to make me smile…. 🙂
Swimmers are boring by their very nature. This bloke is one of the most boring of all time.
Nice hook with the title, David. How long do you spend getting it “just right”?
As a tv ideas man thorpie makes a great swimmer.
Doesn’t this sound rather similar to “Quickies in my Kitchen” with Anna Gare, who has a weekly guest join her in the kitchen to cook and discuss aspects of their life???
One can only hope it’s an improvement on Undercover Angels.
Surely that was one of the campest shows Australia ever produced??
