Adam Lambert on X Factor

American Idol's Adam Lambert will sing "If I Had You" while Short Stack perform their new single "Planets".

American Idol‘s Adam Lambert makes his second performance on Australian television with tonight’s episode of The X Factor.

Lambert appeared on So You Think You Can Dance Australia this year.

Tonight he will sing “If I Had You” while Short Stack perform their new single “Planets”.

One of the acts last night, Luke and Joel, was cut short in the broadcast in Sydney, with host Luke Jacobs telling viewers they would get a longer run in the end of show voting montage.

Given this is a vote-based show, if they are eliminated tonight things could get very tricky for everybody concerned.

It airs live at 7:30pm tonight on Seven.

  1. i’m with you Kylie – Adam has an amazing voice and stage presence – he is a superstar of the future if he is not already considered one now! And King Bile really needs to go – he is ignorant and rude and without musical or artistic cred.

  2. I am with RichoTB, its such a shame this isnt doing better, Luke Jacobz has hit his stride, the judging panel is really good (except for Kyle, who looks totally out of his depth along side the other 3 who are actual muso’s) and the production values are top notch…some of the acts are briliant as well, Sally and Altyan especially..that Mitchell kid of Kyle’s has to go…devoid of any talent and purely getting through on the votes of horny 16 year old girls who think hes cute

  3. I might get hammered for this, but I think Adam Lambert is great!! His voice is fantastic.

Kyle needs to go!!! His ridiculously lame comment about no-one in Australia knowing the song While My Guitar Gently Weeps is appalling and show’s his lack of music knowledge!

  4. Perhaps they could have replayed the performance in full; i know it was only Sydney, but as David points out, if Luke & Joel are in the bottom 2 or eliminated, it won’t be pretty! The entire tape package and half the live performance were mute for Sydney viewers. That said, they seem to have a strong following. Kyle’s boys need to go, i reckon – out of their depth and certainly half cooked talent.

  5. This really isn’t too bad of a show…I watch it online every week, saves me sitting through Luke Jacobz and the fluff in between all the performances

Watching something in half an hour beats a two hour ad-fest anyday 😉
