Cricketer Shane Watson has joined the FOX Sports presenting team.
The reigning Allan Border medallist will provide an insider’s view of cricket coverage as his schedule permits, joining Allan Border, Mark Waugh, Greg Blewett, Damien Fleming and Brendon Julian.
Watson said, “There’s no doubt FOX Sports is dedicated to cricket, offering fans coverage of all of Australia’s overseas tours as well as the Ryobi One Day Cup and KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and I feel privileged to be joining the team – especially ahead of the Ashes and next year’s World Cup.”
Director of FOX Sports Channels, Soames Treffry, said: “You’d be hard-pressed to find a nicer bloke than Shane Watson, who also happens to be an outstanding cricketer and a senior member of the Australian team.
“Shane joined an elite group when he claimed the Allan Border medal earlier this year and continues to deliver consistently in all forms of the game.”

Watson has trouble creating a coherent sentence. I hope his not reviewing LBW decisions.
they’re married, Rhys – Lee Furlong; and she’s doing stuff for Cricket Australia too, it see…
@T-Mac – I don’t think they’re married, maybe engaged. Leigh something or other is her name, she’s an on air presenter. Not sure what Watson is like off the field, but his on field demeanor leaves a lot to be desired.
The people at Fox Sports are incredibly rude in my experience, Watson will fit right in.
Doesn’t his wife work for Fox Sports News?
