Movie Networks has announced the winner of the first Movie Extra Webfest.
Henry Inglis and Aaron McCann from Western Australia won for their submission, Henry & Aaron’s Perfectly Adequate Webisode Series.
It followed a mismatched pair of best friends who host a daily podcast. An ex-radio producer discovers their podcasts and is determined to turn the boys into global internet superstars, whether they like it or not. The duo directed, produced and acted in their entry.
With over 100 submissions, they were voted winners by over 14,000 Facebook members after being shortlisted by industry judges.
The duo win a $50,000 production budget to now produce their series in seven part webisodes which will premiere online via Movie Networks website and video platform at www.mnc.tv.
