Returning: The Mentalist
Update: Plans for a new Mentalist are put on hold for a repeat episode. Can we say Underbelly is to blame?

Some shows may be moving slots this year, but Nine’s The Mentalist is staying put.
It returns with a new episode, “Red Carpet Treatment” at 8:30pm Monday January 31st. It guest stars Jack Coleman (Heroes).
Updated: The show will compete with Bones and Undercover Boss (US).
Further update: Nine now replaces a new Mentalist with a repeat episode. Probably because Underbelly telemovies are tipped to air across three Mondays thereafter. So far TEN is the only commercial network that hasn’t rejigged their plans.

Why can’t they just leave shows where they are successful and where we are used to seeing them? I’m talking about Bones a show that is ideal for Sunday nights paired with the excellent Castle. So no more Bones/Castle And it’s up against one of my must see shows The Mentalist. Freakin Seven!
Conviction Kitchen is now changed to Bones at 8.30pm.
Should be an easy timeslot win
Well I love Simon Baker’s portayal of Patrick Jane. I will choose this over any other show, however not a Fan of “All New” Promos and then repeats. Or just insert repeats during the ratings period. Glad it is back earlier 🙂
It’s already moved about a dozen times. It will probably be a runaway winner against two average reality shows.
Any news on what go and 7mate plan to air once ratings begin?
