Anna Bligh to appear on Gordon Street Tonight

Updated: Next week Anna Bligh will chat to Adam Hills, plus Anh Do and English comedian Steve Frost.

Queensland Premier Anna Bligh will be a guest on next week’s edition of Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight.

It comes at a time when she has been criticised for shooting a 10 page Women’s Weekly “glamour” story two days after Cyclone Yasi hit.

Also appearing on the show will be comedian Anh Do and English comedian Steve Frost.

The show also nabs some great international names: Whoopi Goldberg will ‘phone it in’ from New York and music will be provided by singer Martha Wainwright.

UPDATE: Whoopi Goldberg now a tentative guest subject to availability.

Melbourne rock band Little Red also appear.

It airs Wednesday March 2nd at 8.30pm on ABC1.

  1. Gotta get in the good PR before an election since she was looking to be on the outer. Same reason for doing Women’s Weekly spread, which didn’t mention the flood appeal. Fluff piece

  2. Can I make a comment about last night’s (23 Feb) show ?

Too much audience, not enough guest.

The Dave O’Neill thing was entirely cringe-worthy; set-up or otherwise.

Adam needs to get some lessons in interviewing, and fast.

Jessica Mauboy was a surprisingly good guest.
