While awaiting the Interest Rates decision from the Reserve Bank, up popped a feed from AAP in tiny letters. That looked like the first oops…
Second header in the feed? “More than a million watch My Kitchen Rules.”

Nine usually displays it on the plasma, which Ross Greenwood stands in front of. More recently, however, it has been built into the supers.

Leigh, regarding the My Dad Says thing, maybe Nine’s own programmers were just taken by surprise by a program starting on time, or at least within one ad break of on time?

I have watched quite a few of the interest rates decisions on Nine and I have never seen the AAP thing on the screen.
On Nine News Adelaide, the feed was coming from Sydney prior for Millionaire, for a split second the opening credits of Nine News Sydney appeared, you could see the Harbour Bridge.
Then, then in the first story, Kate Collins crossed live to a reporter, and he said, “Thanks Michael” to her. Michael is the other news reader who hadn’t had a part in the intro of the story.
Another mistake on Channel 9: During the first commercial break of $#*! My Dad Says there was a promo saying the debut episode of the brand new comedy $#*! My Dad Says is up next.
So that’s Nine and Ten with bloopers today on their news. Closest thing Seven had I guess was a giant spider crawl across the camera that shows the Plaza on the screen on The Morning Show today. Larry Emdur was swatting the screen!
David, you don’t watch these much do you?

Well 9 is the new home for comedy. I’ve laughed at their news for years.
“one of those days” is an every day occurrence at abc news 24. The day after the toowoomba flash floods, the lady (i forget her name) had a shocker of a series of rolling tech wizardry failing her. Cringe-worthy stuff
😆 love it! Nine giving a free plug to Seven, wonder who was in control of the live feed?
I was watching but changed over to ch7 for the news, kicking myself that I missed seeing it live.
It could have been worse. It could have said more people watched Seven News last night than Nine News. 😛
Oops, Nine is again promoting a show from a rival channel! Why not have a feed like this or reintroduce a ticker on its news bulletins?
That AAP newswire feed is there for every reserve bank decision (at least on Ch 9)
