The ratings speak for themselves.
As for a wider Australian view of Rugby Leagues effect on Australian free to air television, more people watched Rugby League on free to air TV than watched any other sport.

If you read what League Freak said, (s)he said it was “basically the lifeblood of pay television in Australia”. Notice the word Pay in there. And going by the ratings I think he is right.
bahaha good one league freak. Lifeblood of Australian television my ass. nrl is only on in two states and act. so how is it the lifeblood of a country with 8 states and territiories?
No surprise to see Rugby League dominating the ratings. It is basically the lifeblood of pay television in Australia.
the A-League Grand Final did well. It was a great match to watchm and glad that there were viewers watching it at home too.
Fox Classics, Nickelodeon and Disney continue to do well in the ratings. The absence of SciFi is interesting. Maybe people have given up on this channels terrible programming.
