One of the new characters in Chris Lilley’s new Angry Boys series is Ruth Sims, aka Gran, who works as an officer at a Juvenile Justice Centre for Boys.
Tough-talking Gran is loved by the boys for her ability to use their language, together with her penchant for harsh practical jokes.
The local governor even overlooks her often-racist remarks because Gran ‘gets results.’ Relaxing at home she shows another side, as seen here.
But already there are some media that are pointing towards racist slurs before the show has aired.
Gran appears in the first episode of Angry Boys which premieres 9:00pm Wednesday May 11th on ABC1.

Ten has put new glee against this but from 8:30 ( source: promo) they will have the same audience, the demos for summer heights high were incredible. Wonder which one will be more affected.
