TV1’s true crime miniseries Killing Time starring David Wenham had its premiere in New Zealand yesterday.
The 10 part series by FremantleMedia was due to premiere in Australia in September but was hit by Underbelly-style legal woes due to a pending court case.
The series is based on an autobiography Andrew Fraser, the high flying criminal lawyer who was later himself imprisoned.
This is the second time an Australian-made drama has premiered in New Zealand before locally, with Nine’s Panic at Rock Island already having aired to NZ audiences.
Foxtel has promised Killing Time will air in 2011.

Have to say I am hanging out to see Killing Time, David Wenham was awesome!
I saw Panick at Rock Island while in NZ on holiday, I don’t think people will worry about it’s delay, it was very average but full of NZ actors (it’s best feature).
Panic at Rock Island was an Australia-NZ co-production between TVNZ and Channel 9.
James: yes I noted the co-pro in an earlier story.
