TEN has slated The Biggest Loser finale for 8:30pm Monday May 2nd.
It will follow the second episode of MasterChef Australia, no doubt giving TEN a winnable edge for the night.
The finale will run for two hours, and is coded as two shows:
8:30pm The Biggest Loser Families – Grand Final 90mins
10:00pm The Biggest Loser Families – Winner Announced 30mins.
MasterChef‘s 90 minute premiere will also be replayed on May 2nd at 3pm, in case you were a little distracted by a certain awards show the night before.
The first week’s episodes will also be repeated each weekday at 3:30pm.

You should have had least made the final fair by picking one from each family. The Challendors must be feeling an outcast as they are the only family not in the final.
I wish that meg didn’t go home because she as doing a really good job and same with Damian he was doing a excellent job he and her were my faves now its finished i’m watching master chef its so good george is my fave!!!!!
That was really bad form from Emma tonight voting out Nathaniel! It just shows that she is not a decent person and cannot win against a real challenge.
Logies? They’ll be lucky to get 900k. As for MC I predict there will be no cooking show fatigue MKR was a neighbors step brother to a poor distant relative, MC and JMC are the benchmark and are about to break some ratings records.
Will the TBL Finale be live?
Never been live before so I doubt they will start now.
I reckon Masterchef won’t be as popular this year…third season will slump a bit around 1.3 million a night, before gaining more viewers around late June/early July. MKR and fatigue of the format, along with the overexposure of 6 nights a week will kill this show.
1.2 million……wow that’s so generous. MC for me all the way.
At least TBL gets to finish a day after Masterchef starts. As for Seven…you may have won the first ratings period, but now, this is the part where Ten gets it’s Revenge!
Eat extreme product placement and superior reality cooking TV, Seven Network! Masterchef is TEN’s payback for MKR!!! Mwahahaha!!!
David, please no SHOUTING as per Comments Policy? Thanks.
oops forgot to give my prediction for TBL finale i predict 1.6 million because it is like Ryan said there is the digital channels which draw people away from the main channels
Oh i also am tipping masterchef to open around 1.6-1.9m because remember people there is alot more on offer including channel 11 this time round.
I’m tipping 1.5-1.7m for the biggest loser finale. If it gets over 1.5m then it will beat last yrs figures. Also rem the days when it got over 2.2m for a finale! I think it’s time to go back to singles
@ Dan & Steve, I think you may have both under-estimated the Logies ability to pull good ratings. Why do people insist on bagging Aussie TV’s night of nights ?
@steve you are probaly right maybe i was to genorous to the logies by predicting 1.2
Please
The logies will be lucky to get even a million viewers. I predict 800k for Logies and 2.2 for MC
i forgot the logies was even on havent watched it for almost 20 years and wont be go masterchef it is a shame that MC and the logies arent on for exactly the same amount of time in exactly the same timeslot i know what would win if it was and it wont be the logies
my prediction MC 1.8 millon
the logies 1.2 million
Awesome. I can watch the Logies and catch the MC replay. Televisual crisis averted. 😀
Hmmm so my prediction of Monday night’s schedule (which was never posted) was correct. It was pretty obvious though, especially considering Sunday night’s TBL synopsis says “… ahead of tomorrow night’s massive grand finale!”. So not understanding the whole “embargo” thing seeing as the info was pretty much available.
And i think the Masterchef encores are a good idea as long as it’s just the first week. Let’s not go down the Negus path and show too many encores.
Please say Australia can vote for one of two people to become a finalist?
