‘Good Christian Bitches’ is now just ‘GCB’

From "bitches" to "belles" to just plain, old B?

It was a title that was too good to last….especially with the power of the Bible Belt and affiliate networks in middle America.

ABC’s Good Christian Bitches was switched to Good Christian Belles when it was greenlit to a series. Ugh.

Now it’s just going to be known as GCB. Ugh again.

The dramedy is based on the book Good Christian Bitches by Kim Gatlin and features Leslie Bibb, Kristin Chenoweth, Annie Potts and David James Elliott.

After $#*! My Dad Says from CBS, should we really be that surprised?

  1. Shame on Seven for promoting a series with such a disgraceful name. How do I explain the meaning behind such a name to my child when asked? If this series title had ‘muslim’ instead of ‘christian’ there would be an uproar. What makes this ok? Shame on you.

  2. It invites people to judge “all” christian women. Not all christian women gossip in fact “true” Christian women despise it and know how damaging it is and would never enter into it.

The world is full of gossip “non’ Christians, Christians & across all religions its in magazines & the media its the cruel reality. But it is a personal choice to gossip! Church doesn’t teach it so the person who made the choice to gossip will be accountable to it. It shouldn’t be labelled as broad as “Christian women”

Thought:: If someone considered a nice persona with “brown” hair gossiped about you would you say “brunettes gossip”? No, because that would be claiming that everyone with brown hair gossips

I feel this title is just another attack at Christians and could have been labelled without slandering “christian women” in general

Christians are not perfect and neither are those who judge them
