Judge Judy staying in court until 2015

Judge Judith Sheindlin has agreed to continue her courtroom show until 2015.

Retirement? Baloney. Judge Judith Sheindlin, 68, isn’t going anywhere just yet, after signing to continue her courtroom show until 2015.

“Judy is in a class by herself,” president of CBS Television Distribution John Nogawski said in a statement. “For 15 years, she’s delivered one of the highest-rated shows in all of syndication. She’s at the top of her game, and we’re excited to be in business with daytime’s #1 star.”

Sheindlin, who was hospitalised in March with exhaustion but later released, has fronted the series since 1996.

She now reportedly makes $45 million per year. Nice work if you can rule it.
