Eva Milic to replace Heather Foord at Nine

Nine News' Gold Coast presenter Eva Milic will replace Heather Foord at Nine News Brisbane.

Nine News’ Gold Coast presenter Eva Milic has been named as the weekend replacement for Heather Foord at Nine News Brisbane.

Milic previously replaced Foord when she first retired back in 2008.

Last week Foord announced she would become a relief presenter for Nine as part of a work-life balance.

Milic will continue to present the Gold Coast bulletin from Wednesdays – Fridays.

“It was a little unexpected and it did feel a little like deja vu but really positively because I did enjoy my time in Brisbane and now that (my 18-month-old daughter) Lucia is bit older I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into it again,” Milic told the Sunday Mail.

“I was instantly so excited about the opportunity and I just don’t think you can knock back an opportunity that comes your way.”

  1. I often catch them both when i regularly visit the Goldie, and Eva is a breathtakingly beautiful woman. Personally, i prefer them both to the state wide weekday anchors. I didnt warm to Lofthouse when he was at the ABC,nor with Melissa Downes. Heather ‘s long run speaks for itself. Eva has big shoes to fill.
