Sorry fans of Kevin McCloud, but Julia Gillard’s National Address just got in the way.
Due to the ABC’s coverage of the Carbon Tax announcement at 6:30pm on Sunday, Grand Designs (episode two) will not be screening this Sunday.
Instead a 7.30 Carbon Tax Special will air at 7:30pm.
Grand Designs will resume a week later.

I’m so glad here in the UK networks don’t drop everything as soon as the leader wants to sneeze.
@ Melmac – I couldn’t agree more.
That’s great news Gary, because the sunspot cycle is only eleven years long, so we won’t have to wait much longer for the extreme weather events to stop. Let’s all ignore actual climate scientists and listen to Gary.
Take your anti-science propaganda elsewhere.
I’d rather watch Kevin scrape nails accross a blackboard than listen to Julias voice
And why do we need a carbon tax? More carbon has spewed out of the volcanoes in recent time than Man has ever done. Its not carbon causing Climate change, its sun spots. Climate change and Carbon tax is purely a political exercise. Watch this and see if you still believe in carbon bulls@#T. youtube.com/watch?v=YaTJJCPYhlk&feature=view_all&list=PLDDD6B06FEEEEA390&index=3
what about in perth – or is julia gillard’s address on delay here?
Good, the carbon tax special might be more entertaining
what a bee-atch!
What!! So instead of a design show that often features property building/renovations with carbon neutral construction and highly efficient heating & insulation, we get a show about a carbon tax. Jeez, if the world watched Kev, CO2 emissions would decline.
