  1. I checked yesterday the epg on Gem but i didnt see any Bledisloe Cup in the listing, I hope they will amend it so that i can be for certain. But at this stage it sounds very positive.

  2. Yep, can confirm that guides show Bledisloe Cup from 3:30pm on 9 in Perth. Excellent news, hope the ratings justify Nine’s/WIN’s decision. I’ll be watching.

  3. Hi all,

I can confirm that the Bledisloe Cup will air Live into Melbourne and Adelaide on GEM. This is a brilliant decision by Nine, and a result of lots of campaigning from rugby fans in Victoria and elsewhere in the country.

Hopefully this marks the start of a beautiful friendship 😛

  4. It has been confirmed on twitter that this game (on August 6) will go live across the country free to air. I think you need to update your blog David 🙂 No longer the witching hour for Melbourne! This is great for people who can’t access Foxtel. Here’s the link: bit.ly/oWQAsU

  5. I am surprised Win Television is showing this live into Victoria and Tassie since it interrupts the normal 6pm news service they get from GTV-9 Melbourne. Will be interesting if Win plays GTV-9 News on delay at 7:30pm or maybe they will decide to stay with TCN-9 programming and air the Sydney news live instead

  6. Live into Perth at 3:30pm.

Although Seven used to show the matches in New Zealand live as well.

Still no reason why they can’t show all the other matches live or at a more reasonable hour…

  7. Does this mean that the panel is filmed in Australia and the only one at the NZ ground is Tim Sheridan?

  8. I’ve heard on twitter that 9 will be airing the Bledisloe Cup this Saturday live on GEM in Melbourne. Could you please confirm this for me? Thanks.
