Bumped: Suits

Another switcheroo for Mondays as Suits moves to 10:30pm.

Seven is making a switcheroo to Monday nights from next week with Suits moving from 10pm to 10:30pm.

A repeat of How I Met Your Mother which was at 10:30pm now comes forward to 10pm.

Teen Wolf remains the same at 11:30pm.

Between Teen Wolf and Suits it’s not been a very consistent line-up on Mondays for Seven.

And let’s not even talk about Thursdays. Who knows, if Better Homes and Gardens really is forced to move there next year it might be a blessing in disguise?

  1. At least they’re showing it (albeit at a later time, but viewers can record it and see it later, for those who are into it) and not yanking it off, as Ten regularly do and would.

  2. I am always p*ssed at the constant time slot changes that the idiot programmers do …
But … I tried watching Suits and was bored to tears after about 15 minutes … so glad that it has gone … or should i say, is going ….

Personally, I am hanging out for Wild Boys … that looks brilliant!

  3. I cant believe what im reading. Everything on Tv these days is just crap. All these new dig. channels and what do we get? Repeats that go through a cycle until we get back to the repeats of the repeats once again?. As for One HD, americain sports. Who wants to watch that.? Rather watch aussie sport repeats. Its hard to watch everything at once when they are played on all channels, once!

  4. Yay congrats TV Tonight you are the 1st site to censor me for I assume advising people that there are other options to watching the appalling programming provided by the free to air networks.

Your terms, after I read them show that you are in no uncertain way in the networks pockets and anything that could possible upset them you delete.

Good on you for striking a blow for free speech!

    1. Steve, I don’t ask for much of readers but that people comply with Comments Policy, as is protocol with most online sites. I am well aware of the frustrations of poor network programming, I’ve been rallying against it for years. But we do have Copyright laws. Illegal downloading is a fact of life and I have filed many stories on how it remains prevalent while networks mess viewers around. This makes the issue a news story. But comments that actively encourage it are indeed against Comments Policy. However, many readers refer to watching programmes via ‘other means’, which could include you watching a show on your next overseas trip. I have no problem with approving these.

  5. Wasn’t Suits already at like 10.30 on Monday this week? I have it set to auto-record so the timeslot doesn’t really bother me at all, but Seven still screw up their scheduling as I’ve missed the first minute or two of both the first and second episodes even though the IQ starts recording 2 minutes before the scheduled start.

  6. Wish 7 had repeated the 2 episode starter, was hoping they’d do something at noon during the week after, or maybe on one of their other channels. Missed those eps (was watching Big C / Weeds), 7 used the midday timeslot to air Rafters repeats, and now they’re just making it too hard to get into.

Sometimes I wonder if the networks are staffed by masochists or Munchausens suffers, they seem to enjoy shooting themselves in the foot so much …

  7. Suits was on at 10.30 this week, so I’m guessing they’re trying to keep the time consistent? It’s a shame they bumped it, since it’s a great show, much more entertaining than the boring Body of Proof.

  8. The game of musical shows continues, hardly a day goes by without one of the networks moving shows to a later time or one of the digital channels.

Thank god for your site/blog David to keep us up-to-date.

  9. Wtf is with Seven and bumping great shows! First it was No Ordinary Family (bumped to 7MATE), then Teen Wolf (bumped from 9:30pm to 10:30pm to 11:30pm) and now Suits. They need to stick with whatever timeslot they premiere the show at as this is giving their dedicated viewers whiplash!

  10. if bh&g moves to thursdays because of the AFL it will be an absolute joke, dont get me wrong I love the footy but everytime friday night footy is shown live it always underperforms in the ratings, bh&g is clearly a ratings winner on a friday night

  11. Suits is a great series – Seven dropped the ball on this show by making shitty ads which are nothing like the actual show itself

With better promotion it could have easily reached 700-800k
