Renewed: Suits, In Plain Sight.

USA Network renews legal drama, Suits, and a fifth and final season for In Plain Sight.

Good news for Seven with confirmation that the USA Network is giving legal drama, Suits, another season of 16 episodes.

The drama, which premieres in Australia next Monday night, takes place in the competitive world of Manhattan corporate law.

In the US it has performed well for the network in its demos and in total viewers (6.34 million).

“Suits exceeded our expectations on every level with its sharp writing, engaging ensemble cast and incredible production values,” says USA co-presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel.

“Quickly embraced by our viewers, critics and the industry as a series that pushes the envelope of the USA brand, we needed no further evidence to greenlight a second season.”

USA also renewed In Plain Sight for a fifth* but final season.

The series stars Mary McCormack as a U.S. Marshall in charge of guarding the lives of people taking part in a highly classified division of the witness protection program.

Originally airing in Australia on TEN it has since been seen on Pay TV’s 13 Street channel.

  1. What happened to IPS? I enjoyed this show when it started on 10 then as usual it was boned & never to be seen again (on fta). Now it’s in a fifth season and almost finished. Fta stations have screwed over so many great shows – this one, monk, the closer, csi ny et al.

  2. The add they show for “Suits” is simply … revolting! Not at all funny!
If that is supposed to be a good part of the show, I will not even bother to watch any episodes … there is nothing “likeable” about that boss!

  3. Suits is a fantastic series, best new show this year IMO. Charming, witty, and likeable characters. Hope this one goes for 5+ seasons

I’m pretty sure In Plain Sight has been renewed for a fifth season, and the fifth will be it’s last.
