Audience survey picked up by media

Your views on TV networks do count. Other media today publish key findings from TV Tonight's Audience Inventory.

I don’t normally alert readers to occasions when I am quoted in other media articles but today The Age, the Sydney Morning Herald, WA Today and Brisbane Times have published key findings from TV Tonight‘s Audience Inventory.

This again demonstrates how your feedback resonates with other media, and thereby networks themselves. I’ve also done radio interviews on the results of the survey.

If you are a new visitor to this site having read the Fairfax articles, welcome. Pull up a chair and share your thoughts on your favourite shows.

If you want to read further results of the survey they can be found in two articles:

Free to Air results
Pay TV results

You may also be interested in this article on scheduling from some of the country’s top TV critics, published earlier this week.

This was the third year the survey has run on this site and another will run next year.  Thanks to all 1351 who participated!

  1. Congratulations David, the recognition is well-deserved. The Age article is good, too. I thought that they might have just quote-mined your article but it looks like they elicited some fresh lines from you.

We often go “rah rah bastards rah stupid idiots rah rah” when networks pull a swifty and I’m sure that they sometimes just put their fingers in the ears, so it’s good that the survey provides an opportunity for you to tie up our main grievances in a more moderate and media-friendly package.
