Amazing Race fans who have been asking about the new series can breathe a sigh of relief.
The new series starts in the US today and will premiere on Seven at 9:30pm on Thursday October 6th.
Seven will begin with a double episode to bring us up to date.
That will see new episodes broadcast 4 days after the US.
This means both Amazing Race and Survivor, which starts tomorrow night on Nine, are now being fast-tracked to Aussie audiences.

@Jase, this new season of TAR will be on the main Seven channel, not 7mate, unless its’ going to be replayed another time and day on 7mate in HD.
For the record, this series of Amazing Race will in fact be broadcast in real HD on 7 Mate. (Not a Standard Def verision upconverted). A good friend of mine works at Seven and they are bringing in a weekly HD transfer from the U.S.
This is excellent news. I missed most of the last US series on 7mate because I can’t record HD channels and kept forgetting to catch the later screenings on Seven. Pleased it’s back to Thursday nights on the primary channel.
