Airdate: Brideshead Revisited

This Sunday night ABC1 screens the 2008 film Brideshead Revisited, featuring Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon.

The 1945 novel by Evelyn Waugh was famously adapted into a 1981 series and audiences were drawn to the story of artist Charles Ryder befriending flamboyant homosexual and alcoholic Lord Sebastian Flyte.

This screenplay is by Jeremy Brock and Andrew Davies and the cast also includes Italian-Australian actress Greta Scacchi. BYO teddy bear.
