  1. Senator Conroy said that all digital channels must be available in an area 6 months prior to the digital turn off, yet the Riverland area has its turn off next month. Does this mean that my area, the Griffith/M.I.A., that has its 6 months warning in a week could actually not receive digital channels till the actual turnoff like Riverland? If so, I hope WIN get a serious lashing off the government seems though they have taken every

  2. In Tasmania you can be about an hours drive from Hobart and cant get any more than 4 stations and that doesn’t include channel ten which is digital only. With just over a year to switch off here, its going to be interesting to see if the east coast of Tassie is brought into the 21st century some time soon.

  3. I can’t belive that there are still regions who cannot access digital! It has been around since 2001, and the original shut down of analogue was supposed to be last year! I’d be annoyed if I lived in these regions, knowing that many primary channel shows get shafted to digital channels due to low ratings (or bad scheduling in the first place). I wonder if shows like Neighbours will pick up viewers/ratings as they get acccess to ELEVEN.
