Readers who are longing for classic Aussie dramas should turn their attention to 7TWO from today.

It’s screening Crawford’s Young Ramsay and Five Mile Creek this afternoon.

Young Ramsay (1977-80) starred John Hargreaves as a country vet. The better-known Five Mile Creek, (1983-85) was screening last month on the channel and begins Season Three today. The colonial series, made for the US market with Disney, included Louise Caire Clark, Jay Kerr, Liz Burch, Rod Mullinar, Gus Mercurio, Michael Caton and a very young Nicole Kidman.

From Friday, 7TWO will also begin to replay Artist Services’ ever-popular Seachange from 7:30pm.

  1. Can’t believe i missed Young Ramsay! My S-i-l put it on my external hard drive….or so we thought….until i went to play it!
    I loved that show…but then i had the hots for Serge, used to write to him too. Wonder where he is now?
